2030
SANDAG has identified numerous projects that are important
improvements for the region's highway and freeway system. In the
SANDAG prepared Mobility 2030 Regional Transportation Plan, the
SR-56/I-5 freeway connectors are identified as essential
improvements. The two charts below identify priority transportation
projects for the region with the SR-56 connectors highlighted in
blue. Under these scenarios, the connectors may not be built until
2010 or possibly as late as 2014.
